A sober living home is also sometimes referred to as sober homes or halfway house. These facilities are used by people who are in recovery from substance abuse and provide an interim environment in which the individual can transition back into mainstream society. Often, someone residing in one of these programs will also work with a sober living coach to help them learn new, healthy living habits, which they can then apply to their daily life.
